On The Agenda Today

It's a beautiful day!

The sun is shining and the birds are chirping.....

the blackberries are turning color and I hear the sounds of a farm from across the road and a train coming down the tracks.....

and there are wild animals roaming about!! (If you look close you'll catch a glimpse!)

I got the hose run through my garden yesterday, hopefully that will help my poor beans.

So for today's agenda:

My clothes line has been lonely due to rain the past week and a half. My laundry needs some good drying time and my dryer needs a break.

The grass is VERY tall, so I think I might mow the mushrooms today, I mean, the yard today. It's a good workout too!

These mushrooms are growing everywhere in the yard!

What is going on?!?

And we got a hand crank homemade ice cream maker at a garage sale a while back (notice the $1 price tag still stuck to the lid...) and I thought we might try it out today. I'm sure the kids will get tired of cranking and I'll be doing it mostly by myself, but it'll be so yummy when it's done! And my neighbor is not feeling well, so I thought we might take her over some ice cream. I better get started.....it's almost lunch time already and the day's not getting any longer, but it is getting hotter!!! Oh, and a quick stop at the library to return a book that I have not yet finished! I will just have to check it out again!

One more thing: my plan is to take my 5 year old's 5 year photos this weekend, so be on the lookout for those. She loves to have her picture taken, so they should be really cute!
