The kids and I went to the State Fair this weekend. We had a lot of fun! The kids were really good for being just me and them for half of the day. The first thing we did was go down the big slide with Weedas then we walked through all of the animal barns and found all of the BIG animals. Then we got a cup of fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies for lunch....healthy, I know....but so tasty....and it's the fair!! While we were having 'lunch', we made our way down to the petting zoo. Vince wanted to feed something then decided against it! Rori tried to feed everything and Ellie slept.
I don't remember what this was, but it was something deer like I think! Me and my good memory!!
After all that walking, we were hot so we went to play in the fountain. Ellie wasn't so sure at first!
After Vince got plenty wet, he got right down in the center where the water shoots up high...then he thought it was fun to come give me wet hugs! It did feel nice!
Ellie got a little wet and still wasn't quite sure, but she warmed up to it and got good and wet a little while later!
Then we went and met up with Grandma and Grandpa. We saw all the new baby animals and then went to Little Hands On The Farm and the State Fair Ribbons were going through at the same time.We went down to take Rori on a roller coaster but when we got down there, she was too short so we didn't get to go. She was disappointed. So instead she jumped on the bungee trampoline.
Then she did the rock climbing....in sparkly pink shoes!! She wanted to try everything we walked by!"Don't take my picture!"
Keeping Things Fun!
