We have been so busy....I'm not sure doing what!.....that we never got out pumpkins carved for halloween! So I found this project here to make pumpkin bird feeders and thought we'd try it.
The munchkins had a great time playing in the pumpkin innards!! The pumpkins were very cold as it has frozen here a couple of times!.
We stuck sticks in the sides of the first one like the directions say to.....
...but after that, we decided that the birds could stand on the edge of the pumpkin because we didn't put pumpkin seeds in the top. We made these yesterday and haven't seen any birds on them yet. Hopefully they will find them soon. And yes, those are my clothes hanging on the clothesline on November 1st.....and I'm getting ready to go hang some out today too!! Gotta love Indian Summers!! Oh, and R wants to try baked pumpkin seeds so we saved some to try it! I love it when they want to try new things!!Loving Fall,
