My little man turned 4 today. When did that happen? That's all I want to know... I tried to get him to turn 3 again but he wouldn't have any of that but that's ok because he's so excited to be turning 4 and he's been growing up some lately, I've noticed. And I have to admit...the 3's were tough with him. And I'm realizing just how challenging they were now that he's mellowing a little bit.
We gave him a couple more trains because he plays with them all of the time and they get run down and broken...he is a boy after all! We also got him a Toy Story game to put on his sisters IXL game. He played it all evening! We also went out to eat for his birthday and he got a free piece of cake and ice cream where we ate! He also took a 2 hour nap this afternoon and it would've been longer if I hadn't had to wake him up. I wonder if he's growing! He's excited that he gets to go to school next year and I'm excited for him, too, but also a little sad and can't believe I'm going to have 2 in school next year. What are E and I going to do by ourselves at home??!! I'm sure we'll figure something out!!
He's been saying that he wants a rocket for his birthday for a couple of weeks. So I made him one out of felt. After I cut it out I showed the pieces to him to make sure I'd made something that he could tell what it was!! That was a mistake because he wouldn't let me quit until I finished it and he could play with it that day. So he got an early birthday gift! He loves it and I will get a tutorial up soon. We had a great day and will be having a birthday party for him this weekend with our family and our friends, who are our family as well, which will be a lot of fun!
Happy Birthday, Little Man! Bring on the 4's!
Keeping Things Fun!
